In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered April 14 against Timothy James Hoyle of Churdan on a charge of theft- fifth degree. Hoyle was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. He must also pay $51.04 restitution to Hy-Vee. Court costs were $60.
A judgment was entered April 9 against Trent Patrick Murphy of Jefferson on a charge of domestic abuse assault. He was granted a deferred judgment and placed on probation to Boone/Greene County Probation for one year. He must pay a $430 civil penalty and $100 court costs.
